H5 Data Centers 30-day Public Comment Period July 22, 2024, 12 a.m.- August 26, 2024, 11:59 p.m.

This is a 30-day public comment period for the review of H5 Data Centers' draft permit, technical support document, and notice of construction (NOC) application with associated documents.

H5 Data Centers submitted a notice of construction application to:
  • Reduce the number of permitted emergency generators from 18 to 13.
  • Reduce the number of the cooling tower units from 12 to 9. Design of 5 new cooling tower units use less water and will have lower emissions.
These changes will reduce the permitted amount of air emissions from the facility located at 1711 M Street NE, in Quincy.

We determined this proposal satisfies the requirements of Chapter 173-400 WAC.

The public is invited to comment.

Tentative public hearing
Date/Time: Thursday, August 22, 2024, 6 p.m. online (webinar)

An online public hearing will be held if we determine there is significant public interest. If no significant written requests for an online public hearing are received by Wednesday, August 7, 2024, 11:59 p.m., then the online public hearing will be cancelled.
