Boeing Kent Space Center Public Comment Period 2023


We’re overseeing the cleanup of contamination at the Boeing Kent Space Center facility, located at 20403 68th Ave. S. in Kent, Washington.


We invite you to review and comment on the following documents:

  • Draft Permit: The permit allows cleanup work at the facility to continue.


  • Draft Agreed Order Modification: The Agreed Order for cleanup at this site was modified to require Boeing Kent to do a feasibility study to research how to clean up contamination. 


  • Draft Public Participation Plan (PPP): The draft PPP encourages community involvement in cleanup decisions.

The public comment period is open from February 27 to April 21, 2023. When the comment period ends, we’ll consider all comments and may change the documents based on them. After considering all comments, the documents will become final.
