Contaminated Site Ranking Tool

We invite you to comment on Ecology's proposed new tool for identifying which contaminated sites pose the greatest risk to people and other living things. We plan to use this tool as part of a new site hazard assessment and ranking process (SHARP) developed under the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulations update, chapter 173-340 WAC. 

The draft SHARP Tool and its Manual are now available for public comment through April 16, 2023.
